Supporting riding for the disadvantaged and disabled
Welcome to The Daimler Foundation
The Daimler Foundation was established in 2019, is a registered charity in Scotland, and offers equine
therapy to disadvantaged and challenged individuals.
Horses generate an empathy with humans that other animals do not. While many animals are well known for being therapeutic, horses are particularly well known for their ability to foster change.
We work with charities, individuals, educational establishments, local authorities, community groups and many others to improve lives.
Our Mission
The Daimler Foundation aims to break down the perceived barriers associated with horse riding and supports individuals from every aspect of life to participate in equine activities.
Our principal goal is to make horse riding accessible to any individual and to allow them the opportunity to reach their own personal objectives.
Our Vision
The Daimler Foundation’s vision is to support riding for the disadvantaged and disabled and to encourage more people to understand the positive benefits horse riding and caring for a horse can have on the individual’s health and well-being.
This objective raises the education, life skills, confidence, well-being and aspirations of the participants and removes the barriers to a sport that can enrich the lives of everyone who participates at whatever level.
